that was my immediate reaction when i checked the elections website. "You do not have to vote. Your constituency falls under Holland-Bukit Timah which is uncontested" huh?? i then realised that the block just across the road falls under the Bukit Panjang SMC (single man constituency) which will be contested. what nonsense?? i dun get to exercise my right to vote just because my block falls on the other side of the LRT track??? shock->disbelief->'sian'sation. enough said.
