Random thoughts, rants and reflections

Didn't manage to find time to update the blog for the past week.... so here's some quick recap of the last 7 days...

Oct 22 Friday
Concluded the last workday of the week... had dinner at home before going out for a swim at Eugene's place. Ended up having a DVD marathon after supper at a nearby 24hr prata shop. Slept over there.

Oct 23 Saturday
Round 2 of movie marathon. Rented and watched 3 VCDs from noon til evening with Eugene and Weisiong who came over halfway through. Now... what do you call a slack day??? =)

Oct 24th Sunday
Went back to church for practice after a 2 week break. Mixed feelings about going back.... cos I was still enjoying my time off.

Oct 25th Monday
Monday blues all over again. Met up with Brendan in the evening at Suntec for some long overdue fellowship over dinner. Rediscovered a great 'kaki' for exchanging tips and lobangs for file and mp3 downloads.

Oct 26th Tuesday
Work yet again. (wat else??)
Joined Eugene and Limin for some drinks after dinner. Chatted at a kopi-tiam near my place till about 11pm before going back home.

Oct 27th Wednesday
Met up with Limin and Troy for lunch. Was treated to a meal at a Japanese restaurant. Turned out that it was actually Troy's birthday. Oh man......
Later in the evening after work, I met up with an ex-CG member Charissa for dinner. Great to be able to meet up with old friends after so long.

Oct 28th Today
Sitting here and slacking at my desk, and typing this blog. That's the beauty of having an internship. While others are mugging away (for the uninitiated, it's the exam period), I'm relishing every moment of this 'freedom', the ability to just 'switch off' after work. Hehe. =)
Well, tomorrow is gonna be a day away from office. My department's having their yearly gathering a hotel. This will be followed by some 'cruise' along Singapore River (what??!!), then a session of LAN gaming at a cyber-cafe.
