Random thoughts, rants and reflections

Today is a significant day in the lives of many. For the J2s, it's 'A' Levels time. For our NTU friends, they should have had their first paper by now. As for me, it's still...........WORK. Oh well, I've been rushing my report since monday so as to get it done in time for printing next Friday. It's about 70% done as of now... so hopefully I'll be able to complete it by this weekend. Looking forward to next week, cos it'll be sort of a long weekend for me... thanks to Deepavali on thursday and the makeup holiday on monday for Sunday's Hari Raya Puasa. Gonna be good. =)

Accompanied my mum to the Doc after dinner cos she's been complaining of stomach discomfort and occasional giddiness. The doc concluded that there wasn't anything specifically wrong with her, perhaps just stress and tiredness. Made it back in time to catch the latter half of Singapore Idol.... gotta be honest to say that there isn't much quality up there (as compared to the original AI). Following this, I met with bengo near my place as he was in the area. Came back soon after to slack out.

..........what (as a guy) do you do when a girl threatens to kill herself right before you?? I guess nothing much but to do everything to restrain her. No no.... that didn't happen to me but to a friend of mine. Apparently the girl in question wanted to slash herself and jump off the building. Crazy sial..... makes you wonder what on earth's going on in the grey matter of her head. Sigh.....but guess i shouldn't be commenting too much on this.... best of fortunes to that friend... he's gonna need it.
