Random thoughts, rants and reflections

went for the long-awaited interview with FR this afternoon. got to share with sy and pat about the circumstances surrounding my decision to join stint, as well as to respond to a few interview qs. the entire session took about 2 hours, at the end of which i was accepted... yeah!!! now the only thing left is to get 5 referrals before i'd be able to go for the formal interview with Campus Crusade HR side. This is a little tricky for me cos one of the referrals have to be a pastor or elder from church. And having just moved over from LE to CEFC this year, i'm in quite a limbo cos i've been away too long from LE and at the same time still rather new to CEFC, so dunno which side to approach.... sigh.. hope to get it sorted out soon.

moving on... the bangs and i came up with yet another song... only this time round it was rather unplanned, the song coming out from a short time of jamming together. personally i like the latest composition a lot... will try to post the mp3 up here once i find time to learn to do so...

as usual while jamming, we completely lost track of time.. and before we knew it, we were too late to reach the airport by public transport to send Joy off. Took a cab, not juz a cab but the latest Mercedes taxi, and it sure didn't feel as though we were in a taxi at all. We ended reaching the airport very much ahead of time.... so went for a dinner bite at BK. met up with joy and the rest of the gang who were there for the same purpose at coffee bean.... think we were quite a large group, took up about a quarter of the seats there....

took a lift from simon home after the whole thing and now i'm back... also juz added a second verse to the new song composition..beginning to love the song even more.... will share it with the bangs in a short while.
