Random thoughts, rants and reflections

i've been pegged back by flu, cold, headaches for most of the last fortnight....the headaches especially, had kept me from concentrating in the day, and sleeping at night.... and now they are gone, i feel like i'm almost back up and running. And thankfully too, cos TURT's starting soon... and I need all the mental proficiency to last this season's project. still find it hard to believe it's starting soon in a little less than 2 week's time, and that only 2 years ago, i was still a student participant in it...

Now on the reverse side of things... I discovered to my horror that one of the usb ports on my powerbook has stopped working.... could this be the beginning of the end? whatever the case... i just hope it lasts through this year (at least).... anything short would be a disaster cos i ain't got the money for another laptop. crossing my fingers!
